Don't think of them as gone away, their journey has just begun.

Life holds so many facets, this Earth is only one.

Just think of them as resting, from the sorrows and the tears,

in a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years.

Think of how they must be wishing, that we could know today,

how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.

And think of them as living in the hearts of those they touched,

for nothing loved is ever lost, and they were loved so much.

No words I write can ever say, How much I miss you everyday. As time goes by the loneliness grows, How I miss you... nobody knows.

I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. But all I have are memories, And a photo in a frame.

No one knows my sorrow, No one sees me weep. But the love I have for you, Is in my heart and mine to keep.

I never stopped loving you, I don't think I ever will. Deep inside my heart, You are with me still.

Heartaches in this world are many, But mine is worse than any. My heart still aches as I whisper low, "I need you... and miss you so."

The things we feel so deeply, Are often the hardest things to say. But I just can't keep quite anymore, So I'll tell you anyway.

There is a place in my heart, That no one can fill. I love you... and I always will.

Mama's Crying And I can't stop the pain Can't whisper softly Everything's gonna be ok Words of wisdom and my kisses Won't take these tears away Mama's crying...Mama's crying And I can't stop the pain

They say time heals the broken heart A little more each day And seasons hold the memories We'll smile upon someday But her pain right now is deeper Than her faith in God and Church And as I hold my baby in my arms We both grieve for hers

Summers ending Autumn stumbles into place Anger and frustration Toss and turn our every day Mama's crying...Mama's crying And I can't stop the pain It's gonna be a long cold winter Spring's a long, long, ways away

They say time heals the broken heart A little more each day And with every new tomorrow Sorrow slowly fades The heartache that she's feeling No one else can take away But I'll be right beside her Each baby step she takes Mama's crying And I can't stop the pain I can tell her that I love her Help her through each grueling day But I can't make it better Like I could in younger days Mama's crying...Mama's crying Cause I can't stop the pain

Mama's crying...Mama's crying But I can't stop the pain For only time can dry her eyes And help us smile again..

We think of her in silence We often speak her name

All we have are memories And a picture in a frame

We hold her close within our hearts And there she will remain

To walk with us past tiny tombstones Until we find her name

So many times we needed her So many times we've cried

If love could have saved her She never would have died

There will always be a heartache And a silent tear

But always precious memories Of days when she was here

If tears could build a stairway And heartache make a lane

We would walk the path to Heaven And bring her home again

Our family chain is broken Nothing seems the same

But as God calls us one by one The chain will link again

"Come take a walk with me," she said; as she held out her tiny hand.

"Let me show you where I've gone; it's such a beautiful, peaceful land."

And as we walked, she smiled and talked of happiness so true.

She said "If only you could see this place, then you could never be down or blue."

"I know you miss me as I miss you and I know the pain runs deep.

If only I could show you this wonderful place where I sleep."

Tell everyone down there I love them and my memory forever will live on,

and please tell them I'm up here waiting for when the good Lord calls them Home.

A grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories.

She remembers all of your accomplishments and forgets all of your mistakes.

She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true.

She always loves you, no matter what.

She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her.

She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles.

She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you've become.

Grandmothers Defined

I thought I had forgotten how to hold a baby ~ but my arms remember.

Grandmothers are the people who take delight in hearing babies breathing into the telephone.

Grandmas give you the cherry off the top.

It is remarkable how, overnight, a quiet mature lady can learn to sit cross-legged on the floor and play a tin drum, quack like a duck, sing all the verses of The Twelve Days Of Christmas, make paper flowers, draw pigs, and sew on the ears of severely-injured teddy bears.

Grandmas don't just say "that's nice" - they reel back and roll their eyes and throw up their hands and smile. You get your money's worth out of grandmas.

Those gasps of astonishment, those shrieks of pleasure, those sighs of delight, lost long ago when your children grew wise and worldly ~ are suddenly given back to you by your grandchildren. What seems to be the same small hands clutch yours, dragging you from one excitement to another ~ "Look! Oh, look! Come ON!"

Grandmas bring flowers when your pet dies...and sit and cry with you.

All grandmothers like letters. Even if they just consist of a squiggle and a dirty finger mark.

Grandmothers are good at sitting on the floor to play, but they can be terribly difficult to get upright again.

Today I left some dishes dirty, The bed got made around 3:30. The diapers soaked a little longer, The odor grew a little stronger.

The crumbs I spilled the day before Are staring at me from the floor. The fingerprints there on the wall Will likely be there still next fall.

The dirty streaks on those windowpanes Will still be there next time it rains. Shame on you, you sit and say, Just what did you do today?

I held a baby till she slept, I held a toddler while she wept. I played a game of hide and seek, I squeezed a toy so it would squeak.

I pulled a wagon, sang a song, Taught a child right from wrong. What did I do this whole day through? Not much that shows, I guess that's true.

Unless you think that what I've done, Might be important to someone With deep blue eyes and soft blonde hair, If that is true...I've done my share.

Precious face so full of tears Look to god to calm your fears Calm the hurt and small arms bruised With the angels songs be soothed

Try not to cry my little one Your journey to heaven has just begun Forget the pain and try to sleep The lord above your soul will keep

Forgive yourself, you've done no wrong Though you've been told that for so long The one's that hurt you will pay dear Don't you worry, THEIR JUDGEMENTS NEAR

For every child that's loved and more There lives a child abused "next door" Remember the children who have no love Except from the gracious lord above.

The Childrens Bill Of Rights

All children shall enjoy the following inalienable rights:

1. The right to be treated as important human beings, with unique feelings, ideas and desires and not as a source of argument between parents.

2. The right to a sense of security and belonging derived from a loving and nurturing environment which shelters them from harm.

3. The right to a continuing relationship with both parents and the freedom to receive love from and express love for both.

4. The right to "listening" parents.

5. The right to express love and affection for each parent without having to stifle that love because of fear of disapproval by the other parent.

6. The right to grow and flourish in an atmosphere free of exploitation, abuse and neglect.

7. The right to know that their parents' decision to divorce is not their responsibility and that they will still be able to live with each parent.

8. The right to continuing care and guidance from both parents where they can be educated in mind, nourished in spirit, and developed in body, in an environment of unconditional love.

9. The right to honest answers to questions about changing family relationships.

10. The right to know and appreciate what is good in each parent without one parent degrading the other.

11. The right to have a relaxed, secure relationship with both parents without being placed in a position to manipulate one parent against the other.

12. The right to have one parent not undermine time with the other parent by suggesting tempting alternatives or by threatening to withhold activities with the other parents as a punishment for the children's wrongdoing.

13. The right to be able to experience regular and consistent parental contact and the right to know the reason for not having regular contact.

14. The right to be a kid and to be insulated from the conflict and problems of parents.

15. The right to be taught, according to their developmental levels, to understand values, to assume responsibility for their actions, and to cope with the just consequences of their choices.

16. The right to be able to participate in their own destiny.

Ratify these rights for your children and you will give them better protection than any law could ever provide.

"To my dearest family and friends,

There are some things I'd like to say.

But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this to you from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day that I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through, God picked me up and hugged me and said, "I welcome you.

Its good to have you back again, you were missed while you where gone. As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on. I need you here badly, you're part of my plan. There's so much we need to do to help our mortal man." God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do. And foremost on the list was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night, the days chores out of sight, God and I are closest to you, in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on Earth, and all those loving years, because you are only human, they're bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember, there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you all what God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing's for certain, though my life on Earth is over, I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb; but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too, that as you give unto the work, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain; then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented...that my life was worthwhile, knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low; just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in your footsteps only a half a step behind. And when it's time for you to go...from that body to be free.. .remember you're not going...you're coming here to me."
